This Die / Mold Cart system offers very fast, efficient and safe die and mold changes, using an advanced cart on rails system.
The injection molding tool carts for molds is designed for die and mold handling, it is an electric transport cart which can be powered by a battery, low voltage rail, cable drum, towed cable. There are two types of electric transfer carts, rail guided and freely movable.
Transfer moulding is a variant of compression moulding where the injection of the resin is controlled by a transfer ram. The process consists of a mould cavity and a transfer cavity. The filled charge is initially placed in the transfer cavity, heated until softened and then pressure is applied to the ram, causing the charge to flow through the transfer port to the mould cavity.
Avoid Common Mold Set-Up Mistakes. Donnelly trimmed tool set-up time with two-member teams that work on both sides of the press simultaneously and with tool change carts that are prepared in advance with all the tools and parts needed for the changeover. Tool changes go faster when the mold is stored near the machine and is clearly identified.
